Corrugated Breathing Circuits
Single-use breathing circuit with an annular corrugated design for 360° flexibility (sharp bends without occlusion) and a built-in spiral support to prevent collapse—ideal for long-term ventilation/surgical adjustments. Its corrugated ridges manage condensation (reducing patient backflow risk), while slight expandability buffers pressure/temperature changes for stable gas delivery. EO-sterilized, and available in adult/pediatric sizes (1.2m-1.8m).
The annular corrugated (bellows) design provides 360° flexibility, allowing sharp bends without occlusion. Ideal for complex spatial layouts and patient movement, ensuring uninterrupted ventilation.
An integrated spiral or spring-like stiffener prevents tube collapse under compression or positioning changes. Suitable for long-term mechanical ventilation and surgical procedures requiring frequent adjustment.
The corrugated ridges help trap and disperse condensed moisture, channeling it toward a dedicated collection cup. Reduces the risk of water backflow toward the patient and minimizes false ventilator alarms.
The tube's slight expansibility (1.5–3.0 mL/cm H2O) helps absorb pressure surges and minor deformations caused by temperature or pressure changes. Contributes to stable gas delivery and protects against volume loss.
